
Pilates is an ideal form of exercise to take women through their
pregnancy. It is low-impact, serene, and
focuses on pelvic floor and other important stabilizers. Specific
pelvic floor classes are offered to
accommodate women throughout pregnancy and for post-natal work.
Private sessions on equipment are
also modified for changes in each trimester so that moms-to-be can
continue training until delivery. The
studio liases with each client’s gynaecologist/midwife/health
professional to ensure that training is safe
and appropriate.
