Pilates is a movement system designed to re-balance muscles and bring the body back into ideal alignment and function.

The equipment and repertoire is unique to Pilates and provides a variety of training ranging from foundation and rehabilitation to challenging advanced work.

Pilates was started by Joseph H. Pilates who used his unique understanding of the human body to rehabilitate injured men in the first world war.
